Orphanage PURE! home in Cambodia

In August 2008 Nicoline first visited the orphanage in Phnom Penh to see if there are possibilities to work together for volunteer placements. It was very clear that this orphanage needed more than just volunteer help. In October 2008 the first volunteer started working at this orphanage. In November 2008 Nicoline visited again and decided to adopt the orphanage under the NGO PURE! for kids. This means we are financially supporting the project and helping with structure building, organisation problems and education. Sinds November 2008 we are sending 3 or 4 volunteers a month to our orphanage to support the well being of our 31 kids.The children are 2 -15 years of age.

We are working with our team to ensure the future of these children, most of them are 100% orphan, have no place elsewhere to go and had a difficult start in childhood. We try to help them with the help of our team and volunteers to be daily on the job in Phnom Penh. The children here are peacefull, have their our place to be safe and to learn and create a future for themselves.

The NGO PURE! for kids is the center of this orphanage. Togehter with our volunteers and Khmer staff we make a difference! We always take care that your money is not waisted and comes 100% directly towards the well being of our 31 kids.

This orphanage is young and we need a lot of help!
