Bali is a special destination where you can combine culture, nature, adventure and beaches. Besides all the good features of this paradise, there is also another side with poverty, where help and knowledge is needed. Bali is a special destination where you can enjoy your volunteer experience that you will always remember.
Poverty
For a lot of Balinese people life is far from paradise. Especially in the north and east of the island a lot of people live below the poverty line. Many people mainly in remote villages have no access to education, clean water and electricity. If children already go to school, they often walk miles.
