Mothers visit PDC
The PURE! Dream Centre has already been open for 10 months. Time to get to know the mothers of our eager children a bit better. Seemingly a parent day, last week the mothers were given the chance to see what we are all working on.
In the past 10 months quite a few mothers already dropped by but not everyone dared to make the step. A shame as it is especially good for the children and their mothers to see what we are all working on. Hence the organisation of a parent day. A day all about getting to know one another and exchanging experiences.
On the parent day the mothers were given information on which subjects their children are taking and were shown a few of their books and works. Afterwards they were given a tour, where the children could show them how much they can already say in English. There was quite some giggling going on. However, the children were beaming with pride and even more so the mothers!
At the end of the parent day we asked the mothers on their thoughts of the PURE! Dream Centre. In their own words, the children are better off at the PDC than at home. They are getting more attention and care. Furthermore, they pointed out that their sons and daughters are even more obedient at home nowadays. All in all, they are all very enthusiastic and happy because their children are given the opportunity to go the PDC every day. What a better compliment from a critical audience!
