More mothers involved in our home-based program!
Last week, the second group of mothers started the pilot phase of the home-based program. This time it is up to a group of 15 women! It is busy at our PURE! Dream Centre but great to have these women around.
The previous group of women learned how to create products of palm leaves, and this group is learning how to work with a combination of rattan and palm tree. It is a course that we organize in cooperation with a German development organization called GIZ. Again, the finished product is mainly used as packaging. It is possible that if you buy a product in one of the tourist shops in Siem Reap, the product packaging is made by one of the PDC mothers!
