PURE! bicycle tour
Getting to know the beautiful countryside of Cambodia? Then sign up for the PURE! Countryside Bicycle tour. While cycling you will meet local people, get acquainted with the Cambodian culture and take a look at our PURE! Dream Centre. With special breaks at the houses of three Cambodian families – of which the children make their dreams come true at the PURE! Dream Centre – you support the local community directly.
Through the countryside around Siem Reap, the tour leads to the PURE! Dream Centre. At least 17 kilometers Cambodian beauty is covered with four special visits:
- A local market (watch, listen and shudder).
- A local family giving you a glimpse of traditional medicine (experience it yourself!).
- Another local family shows you how they weave straw roof parts, day after day (weave!).
- Enjoy a traditional lunch at a Cambodian family (please do not hesitate to lend a hand in the kitchen).
The trip starts at the PURE! for kids office in Siem Reap at 8.00 in the morning. There you will be welcomed by your local English speaking guide. Once you are on a bicycle, in only 5 minutes the tour will continue through the countryside. There will be plenty of time for making pictures. Do not forget to ask questions about life in Cambodia. The guide is very pleased to give you an insight in his culture. At the last stop, the PURE! Dream Centre, the bicycles will be loaded on a trailer, pulled by a Cambodian moto. Together with the bicycles we will return to Siem Reap ‘Cambodian Style’ . The return will be around 2 pm.
During the tour all food and drinking water is included. Make sure you are well protected against the sun, and dressed appropriately to the Cambodian customs.
