Visa

Travelling from the Netherlands you need a tourist visa, available at the airport for 20 USD,this visa you can extend maximum 1 month. Your passport needs to be valid for at least another 6 months and you need to bring 2 passport photos with you. When you are staying longer you can always extend your visa by another 30 days in every town for about 50 USD. Business visas are also obtained at the airport. If you are volunteering or staying longer than 60 days in Cambodia you should apply for a Business visa, this visa is 25 USD.

If you are already in Thailand, you can get a visa at the Cambodian Embassy there. There is no Dutch Ambassy in Cambodia, nor is there a Cambodian Embassy in The Netherlands. If you need any help please contact the Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.

Vaccinations

In Cambodia you need the following: DTP, Hepatitis A and Buiktyfus. If you are staying longer you can consider taking Hepatitis B. Malaria is a concern only in certain areas. Please check if taking Malaria pills is necessary. Make sure you use DEET insect spray and use a impregnated klamboe. Before you travel please contact your nearest health center and let them advice you on your vaccinations and medications.
