Team PURE!

Nicoline Westen - Founder, chairman and Fair Trade
My first trip to Cambodia in March 2007 changed my life forever. The love and the smiles of the children were so overwhelming. Back in the Netherlands, I couldn’t get Cambodia out of my head and I knew: I must do something with this. Education is of great importance for children in Cambodia to have a better future, and for this reason the foundation PURE! for kids, shortly PURE!, started. PURE! started from my passion and love for the children in Cambodia. You can reach me through nicoline@pureforkids.org.

Joyce Mulleners - Manager The Netherlands PURE! Dream Centre
There are many things in Life That Will Catch Your Eye but only a few catch your heart ... a sentence that I read on a card during my volunteer work in Cambodia for PURE! in 2009. And that's for sure ... The children in Cambodia are in my heart and I am now committed as a board member of PURE!. I am concerned with networking, fundraising, organizing events, presentations, image, text and styling. I live in Limburg and focuses mainly on my region of South Netherlands. You can reach me via joyce@pureforkids.org.

Goedhart Westen - Board Member
Since the start of PURE! for kids I have been involved as a board member. Nicoline is my daughter and I have supported her from the start in this great initiative. I support the foundation by means of knowledge and advice regarding issues such as staff, management and daily operations.

Pieter van den Ende - Education coordinator PURE! Dream Centre
Since I was travelling and volunteering in several development countries I got the wish to work and live in one of these beautiful countries. After a few years of working in the Netherlands my wish came true and in December 2012 I started as the Education Coordinator at PURE! For Kids. My ambition is to make our hard working staff more independent and guarantee the quality of our educational program. I believe that by doing this our children will get better possibilities to become what they want to become.

Also I learn a lots of things from my job such as controlling the class, different ways how  to teach the kids and discussing the lessons with volunteers.
